The Stern' is assembled in a few simple steps when it arrives: battery, remote control, first speed settings. This step needs no special tools beyond those supplied.
How switching on and off works, with the indicator lights to watch on the electronics box.
Limited speed for learning, riding modes, remote control sensitivity: the settings take a few minutes and are remembered from one session to the next.
Getting started, pairing, reading the battery level display.
A beginner? The Stern' was designed for you as much as for the experienced rider: its three wheels are more stable than a classic skateboard, and the optional learning pole helps you get started.
Foot position, weight distribution, body lean for your first turns.
Your first ride, in an open area, at limited speed.
You learn to turn by shifting your weight gradually rather than by a sudden movement on the remote control.
Sand, snow, forest trails: each terrain calls for a different speed and stance adjustment.
Once you have the basics, refining your carving technique and speed control on difficult terrain makes the difference between getting around and really riding. These points are covered in addition to the basic tutorials, in real conditions on different terrains.
