Seven terrains, seven guides. Each one answers a simple question: can the Stern' handle this ground, and with which set-up and accessories? The answers come from real rides, not from a laboratory.

A standard all-terrain longboard often stops at gravel or wet sand. The Stern' is IP67 waterproof and its motor sits in the rear wheel: snow, beach or forest track are all within reach. Choose your terrain below.

Snow and winter

With the Snow Kit and its track, the all-terrain electric skateboard can be ridden on groomed or fresh snow. See the page Electric skateboard on snow.

Forest and woodland

Forest tracks, roots, soft ground: the Stern's quiet motor and ground clearance are designed for this terrain. See the page Electric skateboard in the forest.

Mountains and climbing

Steep slopes and altitude call for torque. The 2000 W set-up is recommended beyond a certain amount of climbing. See the page Mountain skateboard.

Beach and sand

Dry sand, wet sand, salt water: IP67 waterproofing means you can hose it down after the session. See the page All-terrain electric longboard on the beach.

Cycle paths and city

On a cycle path or a road limited to 50 km/h, the Stern' is restricted to 25 km/h, as required by the French EDPM rules (the legal category for powered personal transporters). See the page Electric skateboard on cycle paths.

Mixed

A ride that links tarmac, track and grass without changing equipment: this is the most common use among Sternboard customers. See the page Mixed terrain.
