Niveau communication Adrien est super réactif et répondra à toute vos demandes avec plaisir, bref c'est le genre de service et de SAV que l'on voit rarement. Au niveau de la stern 2026 c'est une pépite, le frein mécanique ajoute un vrai confort et on s'y sens super bien. L'équipe qui l'a construite est à l'écoute et reste très réactive ! La planche : un couple moteur phénoménal (en bas d'une cote ca grimpe tout seul et pas avec mes autres skates) c'est étanche (on ne se pose pas la question du temps qu'il va faire) ca passe partout et on ne passe pas inaperçu et enfin une autonomie de folie et un confort de ride avec ses suspensions. bref un vrai bonheur ce truc ! merci d'avoir conçu ce formidable moyen de locomotion. Voici donc mes points positifs et négatifs : Voici quelques points positifs : Le Sternboard est extrêmement solide, stable et rapide, renforçant la confiance en son utilisation, même sur terrains accidentés. Il passe absolument partout, des cailloux aux forêts remplies de racines, sans jamais que je me pose de questions sur sa capacité à passer. C'est libérateur. L'apprentissage est rapide ; j'ai pris le coup en quelques sorties et maintenant, ca vient tout seul. C'est extrêmement amusant ! La sensation de glisse et de vitesse est incroyable, l'expérience sous la pluie a été géniale, comme faire du surf. C'est un vrai bonheur, sans contrainte de temps ni de conditions ! L'équipe derrière le projet a fait preuve d'un grand professionnalisme pour livrer le produit en Suisse, ce qui n'est pas facile. Ils ont fait un effort supplémentaire et je les remercie beaucoup ! Cela attire l'attention dans la rue, ce qui est un plaisir supplémentaire ! Voici les points négatifs, qui sont pour le moment des détails qui rendraient le Sternboard parfait : La poignée de frein mécanique sur la télécommande devrait être inversée, comme sur une poignée de vélo, car dans l'état actuel le frein est trop éloigné de la poignée, ce qui peut poser problème pour des petites mains. De plus, un mécanisme de séparation rapide du frein faciliterait le chargement de la télécommande sans avoir à promener le Sternboard avec. La variété des types de chargeurs est un point négatif : un USB-C sur le phare (sans support de charge rapide) et un USB mini sur la poignée (un type d'USB plus ancien, difficile à trouver sur le marché). J'aimerais qu'il y ait une standardisation pour tous les appareils mobiles, cela simplifierait la recharge. Le phare avant, bien que détachable, pour moi, ne fonctionne pas normalement et j'attends un remplacement. La décision d'avoir une alimentation séparée et pas via la board est compréhensible, mais aurait pu être simplifiée. Un petit câble nécessaire pour la sécurité n'était pas inclus dans la boîte, mais ils m'ont assuré d'un remplacement. Voilà pour ma revue !

On a vraiment l’impression que le monde devient une immense piste de ski. Avec ses suspensions et son étanchéité, il passe partout, demande très peu d’entretien, l’autonomie est top et la maniabilité vraiment excellente. Franchement, aucun regret.

What range does the 20 Ah battery offer?
Up to 75 km depending on weight, terrain and riding mode.
Is the bag still comfortable on long sessions?
Yes. It is ergonomic, balanced and you forget it is there even after several hours. The made-to-measure battery is flat and naturally follows the shape of your back.
Can I ride in the rain?
Yes. The motor and electronics box assembly is IP67 certified, so fully waterproof. You can add the optional cover to the bag for extra protection in the rain.
Is this model suitable for rough terrain?
Yes, as long as it is stabilised: forest tracks, rocky roads, trails. If you want to ride in hilly areas, choose a 2000W model.
How long does it take to recharge the battery?
About 2 hours with the 10A fast charger, and 4 hours with the included charger.
Does the Stern' need much maintenance?
No, it is very simple: mostly a rinse with a hose. Now and then, check a few screws and put some WD-40 on the bearings and the suspension. That's all.
Does the Stern' comply with French regulations?
Yes, from delivery: front light, red rear light, reflectors, horn, and speed limited to 25 km/h. Legal category: EDPM, the French category for powered personal transporters.
Does it need insurance, and how much does it cost?
Yes, like any electric vehicle: between €3 and €4 a month. Insurers now know the Stern', and we can give you a certificate of conformity to send them.
What about punctures?
It is very rare. At the front, standard 10-inch inner tubes: a quick spray of puncture sealant and you are off again. At the rear, the tyre is tubeless with sealant: it does not puncture. The tyres last thousands of kilometres.
How do I protect it from theft?
Lock it up like a bike, with a bicycle or motorbike lock. You can also fit an AirTag or its Android equivalent.
Is there room left in the backpack?
Yes, plenty. The bag is made to measure: there is room for a laptop for work, a water bottle or a picnic on a ride.
