2024, the year of strategic partnerships
As the Our story page explains, 2024 was a turning point for Sternboard: production ramped up, the first Sternival took place (the free, invitation-only gathering for Stern' owners), there was media coverage (TF1, Science & Vie) and several partnerships gave the brand a visibility it did not have before. Three names come up again and again in this history: Livreur du Futur, Samo on Board and Electric Revolution.
Tested on professional trips
The partnership with Livreur du Futur put the Stern' through intensive use: repeated trips over varied terrain, far from an occasional leisure session. This kind of collaboration ties in directly with the brand's B2B goal: developing professional use in France and Belgium, with rental companies, hotels and premium campsites.
New audiences
The collaborations with Samo on Board and Electric Revolution widened the Stern's reach among audiences already interested in electric mobility, without the brand having to change its message: the same range, climbable gradient and price figures shown on the site's product pages formed the basis of these exchanges.
Electric skateboard rental: controlled running costs
For a rental company, the question is not only how appealing the product is, but what it costs to run. A full charge costs about €0.15 for 50 km of range: a useful benchmark if you already rent out e-bikes.
