The Stern' all-terrain electric skateboard at the Transtech Festival
The Stern' on the Transtech stage. Terrain first.
A presentation that stood out at a mobility show
Each year, the Transtech Festival brings together mobility projects that go off the beaten track. The Stern', a three-wheeled, IP67-waterproof all-terrain electric skateboard, found its place there: not a bike, not a scooter, not an urban skateboard, but a board that goes from tarmac to trail or sand without changing equipment.
The presentation highlighted what the brand has stood for since its beginnings in Bordeaux: a motor built into the rear wheel, a backpack battery and assembly in France.
An all-terrain electric skateboard that breaks the mould
The article about this presentation, published by Transtech, looks at the three-wheel design and its ability to move from one surface to another. The full article is available at this source: transtech.fr/projets/sternboard.
The rear wheel at the heart of the conversations
At the show, visitors mostly asked about the large rear wheel and its ability to go anywhere. The product pages give the figures: climbable gradient and range depending on the terrain.
