The guide
The Stern' rides on three wheels, with the motor in the rear wheel: a design that grew out of crossing a classic skateboard with an electric unicycle. In turns, the board leans naturally and responds to your weight rather than to pushing. With the 2000 W motor, it also climbs slopes of up to 35%.
On a classic four-wheel skateboard, you turn using the trucks. On the Stern', the motorised rear wheel lets the chassis lean further, like carving on a snowboard. It is not an exact copy of snow, but you lean much more than on a classic longboard.

Carving sessions work just as well in an empty car park on a gentle slope as on a compacted forest track or a beach at low tide. IP67 waterproofing lets you ride in light rain without stopping the session, and rinsing with a hose is enough after riding on wet sand.
