The Stern' rides forest trails, hiking paths and woodland thanks to its direct-drive brushless motor built into the rear wheel and its ground clearance designed for roots and small bumps.

Quiet enough to disturb nothing
Comfort on soft ground and roots
A standard all-terrain longboard often lacks ground clearance on uneven ground. On the Stern', the motorised rear wheel and the three wheels spread the weight differently: you get over a root or a rut without stalling. On very soft ground, the Snow Kit track helps (Stern' 2000 W with backpack battery); on steep climbs, the 2000 W set-up gives more torque.
Range in forest conditions
The stated range of up to 100 km (1000 W set-up, 25 Ah backpack battery) is measured on smooth ground. In the forest, expect a shorter range depending on the climbing and the type of ground. The 7 kg backpack battery recharges in 2.5 hours with the 10 A fast charger or in 5 hours with the standard charger included.
Recommended set-up

Can the Stern' get over roots and ruts?
- Its ground clearance and three-wheel design help it over the usual bumps of a forest track, without guaranteeing it can clear every obstacle.
What range can I expect in the forest?

Does the motor disturb wildlife?
