The guide
Limited to 25 km/h on public roads, the Stern' rides on cycle paths and never needs a parking space: you carry it by hand to the office or into your home. Over a few kilometres in town, journey time depends mainly on distance, not on traffic jams.
The Stern' costs from €1,990 to €3,390 depending on the configuration. After that, it charges from an ordinary socket: no fuel, no paid parking, no travel pass. Maintenance mainly concerns the tyres and wear parts, sold individually in the shop.
The Stern' does not fold, but you can carry it by hand and take it on public transport: it covers the journey to the station, then from arrival to your door. Access rules for personal transporters vary from one network to another: check those in your city.
