Compactness: the main argument for urban electric mobility
An e-bike, even a folding one, is still bulkier than an electric skateboard when it comes to storing it in a flat, an office or a car boot. The Stern', 17 kg without the backpack battery (20 kg for the Stern' Urban, integrated battery included), can be carried by hand, or with the battery backpack on your back for the removable-battery versions.
For commuting
For a commute of a few kilometres, the Stern' spares you the chain and the regular mechanical maintenance of an e-bike. Over long distances, however, the bike keeps the advantage: you can pedal it for a long time.
